Experts concerned as chemical castration becomes law

Chemical castration becomes law in Louisiana

When Gov. Bobby Jindal signed a Senate bill mandating the use of “chemical castration” for repeat sex offenders, he ushered in a practice both legally and ethically controversial. Senate Bill 144 authorizes the use of medroxyprogesterone acetate for persons convicted of certain sex offenses, such as aggravated rape, second-degree sexual battery and molestation of a juvenile under the age of 13.

I don't see the problem with this law. If don't want to be castrated, don't do the crime.
