You Need A Gmail Account

Want to keep track of your stocks? Want to stay more organized? Want to share photos? Want to share your word processing, spreadsheet, and power point files with others?

You need a gmail account. A gmail account gives you access to all of these and much more.

  • Gmail - I think this is the best e-mail account you can get.
  • Calendar - This is an online calendar that you can keep private or share with others. It will send you notifications to your gmail account. You can also import calendar files.
  • Documents - You can create a Document, Spreadsheet, or Presentation for private or public use.
  • Photos - Upload a gigabyte of photos to share with others.
  • Reader - Subscribe to your favorite news topics.
These are just some of the services you get with a gmail account.

How do you get a gmail account. I got one by getting someone I know to send me an invitation. If you know someone that has a gmail account, ask them to send you an invitation.

Here is a spreadsheet I created with google documents. It keeps track of stocks I want to know about.

In cell C2, I used the following formula.
=GoogleFinance(B2, "price")

In cell D2, I used the following formula.
=GoogleFinance(B2, "volume")

In cell C3, I used the following formula.
=GoogleFinance(B3, "price")

In cell D3, I used the following formula.
=GoogleFinance(B3, "volume")

And so on...
