Windows 7

Well microsoft is coming out with its new operating system. It is called Windows 7. Supposedly, they are shooting for simplicity. I was one of the unfortunate ones to get stuck with Vista. Microsoft knows it sucks. So what now. I have to dish out a couple of hundred bucks to get Windows 7. Why doesn't microsoft allow Vista users to have a free upgrade to Windows 7? I have never used an operating system as annoying as Vista. For the last time, I want to allow this. That gets so annoying. Microsoft's problem is they are trying to control what the user is doing. Let the people decide for themselves. So, come on microsoft, gives us unfortunate Vista users a break and let us have Windows 7 for free. After all, you are the ones that dumped this garbage on us.

Computer Algebra System

Need a great Computer Algebra System (CAS)? Want a free one? Maxima is a CAS and it is free. I use it all the time and it works great. I haven't found anything it will not solve. It is pretty much the open source version of mathematica.

Great Screen Casting Software

Here is a great program to create screen casts. It is free. It is called Camstudio. I would download version 2.5. It would also be a good idea to watch some tutorial on You Tube to see the settings you need to use.

Flash Cards for Excel

I have posted a flash card program for excel. It is to help kids learn their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. The VBA code is not protected so you can view the code I used. I have tested the code pretty good, but there could still be errors. If you find any errors, please let me know.

Other Lotto Games

I would like to create files for all of the multi-state lotto games. Maybe one day I can combine them into one file. That will take some time. I don't have a bunch of time right now because of other projects I am working on.

But, if there is a particular game you would like done, please leave a comment and I will get to it quickly. One problem is finding a database of winning numbers for the different game. Although the three I have done were not that hard to find. Hot Lotto was the toughest to find a database. So if you do make a suggestion, it would be helpful if you could leave a link to the winning number so I can bring them into excel.

I would also like to develop similar files for Open Office Calc. The coding is a little different, but I don't think it will be that bad.

Lottery Predictors

I will be updating the powerball, mega-millions, and hot lotto files twice a week. So you need to check back a day or two before each new drawing. I need to do this because the code I wrote is dependent on the frequency of the numbers in previous drawings.

And please leave comments if you win using these files. I am very interested in how it is working. Hopefully, over time I rewrite the code to work even better. Your feedback is important.
